Hello! I absolutely adore how you draw Hector, and your Grujaja art has wrecked me to my core with love. Fabulous big little guys. 100/10 would recommend. Anywho, I keep looking at your art of Hector popping his own head off to diss himself and can’t help but wonder: do you think he would ever (post A LOT OF HEALING) do silly stuff with his ability to go to pieces?

yes 100% he does after he gets in a better headspace unfortunately its very commonly used to mess with his boys in my heart and soul. This is because all the bizzyboys are silly little guys including him.

Do you think there's any truth to the orange = stupid/crazy stereotype? I've met a lot of cats in my life (volunteered at a cat shelter in hs) and I notice red cats do tend to have a specific personality type thats a bit unhinged and crazy, and I have one myself that fits the stereotype perfectly lol. But I also have a friend with a black tuxedo cat who has that same "unhinged" nature that most non-red cats I've met don't have. And ofc there's some red cats that don't have that. Could it be a gene that causes this personality, that's just more prevalent in red cats but can appear in others? Or is it all just confirmation bias?

First of all I don't actually have much experience in real life with lots of cats, i'm much more of a theory person. So I wouldn't say mine is a very trustworthy opinion here.

That's said i'd absolutely bet on confirmation bias. (Same with "crazy torties".) Even in my pretty limited experience i've met absolutely sweet torties, and calm and collected reds. All studies i've found about the correspondence of color and personality was based on owner reports; not a great to way to remain impartial.

at the same time. i feel like he would think it's "cheating". he takes so much pride on being *able* to do things. doing drugs to help him with his performance would be admitting to himself that he had to *resort* to that. and it would make him feel like absolute shit about himself. and i think majima tends to avoid doing things that make him feel bad about himself. like. to a pathological degree

and would he use drugs for the escapism? again, i think he would think that's lazy. his drug of choice for escapism is stories and theater and acting. he just loves pushing himself and he's like... got this fitness freak mentality about this stuff i think

and i think the "he's GOTTA be coked up" thing is like. it's just part of the mad dog act. he *wants* people to think that. but i don't think it's actually true. cause see the point about "cheating". plus he's especially in a position during y3 where he needs to be at his best, because he's being entrusted with the whole clan *and* he's on babysitting duty for daigo. he needs to stay sharp and idk if he'd risk his performance suffering, he takes this stuff wayyy too seriously even if he doesn't show it

wym ovan is a cheater?

I mean it's not explicitly in the text but listen. Come the fuck on now. Do you really think Mr Interpol-affiliated grey hat, climbs-firewalls-for-fun-and-sport, intended-play-area-is-merely-a-suggestion has ever played a single game in anything approaching a "normal" way? CC Corp were having psychological breakdowns about Ovan's presence on the service even before he became a walking system integrity error and spent, what, several years giving CC Corp the runaround on their own platform.

Ovan is just so damn wilful and composed and perpetually invested in outwitting his circumstances that he'd get bored with a game that just tells him what to do, and doesn't really offer him options to figure out what he wants to do for himself. He is patient with things exactly to the point where his influence over them begins -- and if he can give things a shove to get them cascading, he absolutely will. The game he'd be playing in The World is the meta-game speedrunners play, where it's not a matter of what you can do in-game, it's a matter of what the game technically can't stop you from doing.

I think if Ovan did start playing The World for fun rather than simply using it as an entry point into investigating CC Corp's systems, he spent his early levels trying to sequence break every single quest and then very quickly jumped to glitchhunting and rumorchasing and escalating amounts of fucking around in the black box parts of the system. He already had access to the Creator Room by the time Aina started playing, and once she got deep into the lore of the game, it would have been pretty trivial to put his PC at the level cap with maxed out equipment so that she never had to stop to grind and could keep getting deeper into the game at her own pace.
